Fair Oaks Community Garden
The Fair Oaks Park Community Garden originated in 1981 with the development of 47 plots and later expanded to the current 84 plots in 2010.

The 1.85 acre Fair Oaks Park Community Garden exists to promote good gardening techniques, sharing of information, and community camaraderie.

The Honey Bee Haven is a unique outdoor museum dedicated to bee pollinators and the plants that support them.

Historic Rose Garden
The Historic Rose Garden is a collection of approximately 500 antique and old garden roses located on some two acres in the Historic City Cemetery at 1000 Broadway, Sacramento, California. The garden preserves roses that were found growing on abandoned properties, old cemeteries, and other historic California sites.

Organic Gardening Club of Sacramento County

The club meets the first Friday of the month from 10:00 a.m. - Noon in the months of September, October, November, December, February, March, April, May and June.
Meeting location is the Carmichael Parks and Recreation District clubhouse at 5750 Grant Avenue, Carmichael.
Regional Water Authority
The Regional Water Authority (RWA) is a joint powers authority representing 21 public and private water suppliers serving over 2 million residents in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, and Sutter Counties.
RWA’s mission is to protect and enhance the reliability, availability, affordability and quality of water resources for our members.

Sierra Foothills Rose Society
Founded in 1962, the Sierra Foothills Rose Society is an educational, non-profit organization dedicated to the cultivation and enjoyment of our national flower, the Rose.
Meetings are held at the Maidu Community Center,1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, CA., where we foster, stimulate and increase interest in the Rose for home and public gardens through programs given by knowledgeable people who love Roses.

Get your preserving on! The UCCE Master Food Preservers of Sacramento County are here to help you understand how easy it is to can, pickle, ferment, dehydrate and freeze food safely at home using research-based methods.
UCCE Master Food Preservers volunteers are trained and experienced educators, certified by the University of California to lead demonstrations at the Branch Center and participate in farmers markets, community festivals, and other county events.
